Encouragement

Critical not Creditable…

What are you thinking about?

The past few weeks I’ve been intentional about controlling my thoughts. I’ve become more aware of what drives them.

Doing this I’ve noticed MY FAULTS and the Faults of Others are magnified way more than the Victory that God has already promised us. Thoughts of what I do not have outweighed thoughts of what I DO HAVE when compared. The ability to reminisce on God’s daily blessings can be stolen from us one-thought-at-a-time, sometimes – if you THINK about it.

Situations that God has NOT fixed, overwhelm our thoughts and we rarely call out those things that GOD has already brought US through. We are all walking testimonies!

We have the Victory – We have power to control what we are thinking…

The bible tells us satan only comes to kill, steal, and DESTROY. Kill our Spirit. Steal our peace. His intention is to destroy us using our very own thoughts and even the day-to-day distractions that fuel our thoughts.

I want to encourage you! The enemy will cause us to be very critical of ourselves and critical of OTHERS. Satan is Critical but not Creditable. The enemy is not Creditable.

John 8:7 is a reminder that we WILL Not Be a Perfect people.

“When they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”

Philippians 4:8 clearly describes how We Should Govern Our Thoughts.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

You may be struggling with something, you may have insecurities, you may have had thoughts of depression or even suicide. Today is a NEW Day, “Whitewash” your thoughts – do not allow the enemy to score.

Keep a positive attitude and remember to speak Blessings over your life and the people GOD has Placed in your life.
